What Our Participants Say
This course has transformed how I work with autistic and ADHD students. I feel better equipped to predict study needs in the classroom and empowered to have practical strategies to employ in my professional practice. I am keen to start doing more for my neurodivergent learners and operate with more confidence around both those that identify as such and those that might want to. For example, I want to build in / build up different ways to ameliorate barriers and perhaps challenge some of the traditional thinking that still dominates the profession and my own practices.
ZACH STAHL, HEAD OF LIBRARY AND CAREERS
I wish everyone could take the course to understand better how to interact with neurodivergent people as it would make life so much easier for them
AMY WILKES, TEACHER
Very well structured and clearly presented ideas.
ELLEN OWENS, DIABILITY ADVISOR
The course gave me a more detailed understanding of the challenges students face. This helped me to think about how I can adapt strategies to better support students.
CRAIG MYERS, NMH SUPPORT WORKER
I feel more empowered to be bold and say to colleagues that an individualised approach is key and assumptions must not be made.
ROB WATTS, TEACHER
I liked the variety of ways of presenting and different viewpoints. The quality of the examples and scenarios presented in the course were excellent. It made me reassess my attitude to ADHD.
ALICE BALL, NMH SUPPORT WORKER
